Even though our shirts are as simple as can be, we still expect some to question this and that before ordering.

You are always very welcome to mail us at ahoy@theseashirt.com but we've gathered some questions below that you might have in mind while surfing around our website.

How do I order the right size?

Look in the neck of your favourite T-shirt. Chances are that it is labeled with a letter indicating its size. And since our shirts are meant to be as easy to wear as a T-shirt – they are actually sized like these as well. Therefore if you normally use a size L in T-shirts – your Seashirt should be ordered in same size.

Do you ship to Australia?

Yes, we ship worldwide - but if you should pass by Copenhagen, you are very welcome to stop by and fetch it in our office.

Does a Seashirt need ironing?

Actually the Seashirt was invented in order to be able to look presentable in a shirt even though you were at sea where ironing tend to be a bit complicated. So what we do ourselves is to hang out the newly washed and still wet shirt and let the wind do the work. Some buy these inflatable hangers which will refine the drying process a bit.

What if I loose a button?

Well, that is no problem. If you've got a needle, that is. Because all our shirts have an extra button applied in the side seam. And should you loose that one as well, we're well stocked up on buttons and can send you one more.

Why do you pre-wash the shirts?

We pre-wash all our shirts for two reasons. One is to obtain the exceptional softness that is one of the features of our shirts. Another reason is to make sure that the shirt doesn't shrink after washing. Life at sea can be rough and so can the washing machines when harbouring, so this way your shirt stays fit and true to the size it had from the start.
